The Hoxton, Chicago

My wife and I have stayed here every Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Never disappoints. We always get the “Cozy” room and they are spacious. Lobby area is full of life and cozy. The restaurant has amazing food and is open Christmas day. Front desk staff are always polite. Highly recommend!

Trendy, fun hotel. Party atmosphere. The metro train is right outside 1 side of the hotel, so it was loud all night from the train. The gym is 24-7 and great. Pros: location. Free water. Cute rooms. Cons: front desk staff seemed annoyed to get questions. My friend's room literally flooded and they didn't want to switch her room or comp her, even though their pipes broke and soaked her stuff. Loud. No late checkout.

Visited the lobby area to finish out the night after dinner with the ladies! Nice spot with a nice crowd. Had good drinks, especially liked the spicy margarita! Has a speakeasy downstairs. DJ could've played better music for the crowd in my opinion. Will return!

The team at this hotel were absolutely amazing! The best part, the Valet gentleman and how they helped me with my little jerk of a car that wouldn't start. Brenden, Justin and Ryan are so kind and still hustled in this painfully frigid morning to get me and my car home safe! I cannot thank them enough! Tip your valet people, they make our lives easier

At The Hoxton Chicago, I found a pocket of peace. The gentle rumble of the train beneath my window reminded me I was right in the heart of downtown—a dream I’ve always had. My room, with its cozy king-sized bed, felt like a personal sanctuary. The pillows, just right, wrapped me in comfort. I even did yoga right there on the bed, easing my lower back pain. The ambiance was so immersive—it felt like I was in my own downtown apartment, with the rest of the ‘house’ just around the corner. As I relaxed, watching Tamron Hall like I would on a day off, I felt immense gratitude. This space, created with such care, made me feel like I could stay for a month. I’m truly thankful.

Great experience at the Hoxton in Chicago!!! I was able to enjoy the service, restaurant, and bar! Asked for an iron and they had it to my room within 20 minutes. Sleek, quirky, and modern! FYI- the train track is close to some rooms, but I'm used to city noises- it didn't bother me, but it could bother some, I'm sure.

My husband and I spent the night at the hoxton. Their staff was really nice from the valet, to the front desk check in. Our room was very clean and neat. The bed was super comfortable. The pillows were also super comfy. The only problem was that our room was facing the Metro tracks and every 20 minutes or so it would come ripping past our room. Very noisy. Kind of like a train. Had a hard time sleeping. Next time we will ask for a room that isn't centered in that area. Other than that, our experience was rather nice.

We booked a room block at The Hoxton for our wedding weekend and overall had a really positive experience. The staff were so kind, went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like a card and gift in our room, and the hotel itself is beautifully furnished. The basic rooms are definitely on the smaller side. We (and several of our guests) felt a little cramped for the price point. The lobby also turns into a very lively nightlife scene on weekend nights, which probably wouldn't suit those looking for a quieter stay. Great location though in terms of proximity to bars and restaurants.
